Function:
Voluntarily or involuntarily contracts muscles in the body. In this system the muscle tissue voluntarily or involuntarily contracts the heart  to pump blood through the body.

Major Cell Types:

• Skeletal Muscle Cells
• Cardiac Muscle Cells (Main cell type for circulatory system)
• Smooth Muscle Cells
